Thanks to Lizzie Goldsmith for having me on her podcast "Mildly Profound" Episode 5!

This conversational podcast talks about the things we love to do and the things that keep us grounded, and I spoke about my passion for writing and creating.

Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about letting go, perceptions of others, and the fact that I like to start a million new projects purely because I love organizing things. Excel spreadsheets? I got ‘em.

"In our society a lot of emphasis is put on a final product and not the process, and I think we really undervalue the process by which we create anything,” I said, “which is why many people don’t take the time to learn languages, instruments, different hobbies, skills, whatever - because they’re so concerned with that final product - for everyone else to see it. But it’s really all about the process for you, as a person, and then you have to think ‘why am I really bothering to do this?’”

I had a great time chatting with Lizzie, and you can listen now on the Syracuse University’s Orange Television Network, or follow on iTunes.
